Life is whatever you want it to be. I choose to build a life that I truly enjoy, that satisfies me with every breath. That is utterly and completely beautiful. You can build whatever you want. I write and create images for myself and for all the rest of the people in the world who are like me – kindred spirits. I don’t concern myself with mass culture and whether most people ‘get’ me or what I am trying to say. Mostly, they do not, and that’s fine. I have little connection to mass culture. My goal is never, ever to conform, but to build a way of living that I love and that suits me perfectly.
Mind takes the shape of whatever its contents are. Contemplate the good and the beautiful and accordingly, you will embody those qualities. This is what I live my life for – to embody ideals, to live them fully. |
