Silent Infinite Arts is the result of everything I've loved doing for the last decade. After too long a time of doing things as I believed I 'should' according to what I perceived was expected of me by society, I decided to go back to the things that I really loved and enjoyed doing: photography, graphic design and video. I want to create things that are beautiful and enjoy the process of creation.
The phrase 'silent infinite' has stuck with me for some time now and I originally encountered it in this verse that I really like from the Huainanzi:
What sages learn
Is to return their nature
To the beginning
And let their minds
Travel freely in
Openness.
What developed people
Learn is to link their nature
To vast emptiness and
Become aware of the
Silent infinite.
Hi! I’m Abigail. I take photos & do graphic design. I love music, photography and travel. I also tweet a lot. New York City is my favourite city in the world (that I’ve seen so far) and the place in which I feel most at home.
My general aim in life is to live a life that I can feel good about. I don’t know why but I have a deep-seated belief that life is a miracle and that every moment is beautiful and meant to be lived fully. Of course, it doesn’t always seem like this but all the same I like to experience and remember moments when I feel most convinced of this truth.
